Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a Materials Program Management professional to coordinate production/shipments plans across Business Office, Production, Procurement, Planning and customers.

You will identify process improvements, support master planning, and manage cost and feasibility discussions with customers. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, new product introduction support, and ensuring SCM policies align with customer contracts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (education varies by geography).
  • Three to six years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Interfaces with Business Office, Production, Procurement, Planning and customers to develop production/shipments plans.
  • Identifies business process enhancements and participates in their design and implementation.
  • Participates in Master Planning review and procurement actions from MRP process.
  • Coordinates with planning on customer requirements and feasibility assessments.
  • Supports new product introduction.
  • Negotiates terms with customers on SCM activities and costs.
  • Provides customer with SCM data, supplier capabilities, and market trends.
  • Reviews terms and conditions to ensure SCM can meet requirements.
  • Manages customer relationships from a supply chain perspective.
  • Coordinates Bill of Material analysis and reviews lead times and critical parts supply.
  • Resolves issues with customers and internal teams.
  • Champions improvements and communicates action plans.
