Zusammenfassung

TE Connectivity seeks an experienced Materials Planning Manager to lead the MPS, manage material requirements, and optimize inventory for a safe, efficient supply chain. You will drive S&OP/SIOP alignment, supervise planning staff, and partner with Operations, Procurement, and Finance to meet customer delivery commitments.

The role requires a strong background in MRP/MPS, lean methods, and SAP, with English fluency and leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Materials Planning, Supply Chain, Production Planning, or related areas.
• Previous people leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, MPS, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, and S&OP/SIOP processes.
• Experience in a low-volume/high-mix manufacturing environment is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead and supervise the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for the 0 to 3-month planning horizon aligned with the S&OP/SIOP process.
• Analyze production capacity, labor, equipment, and resource utilization to support customer demand and identify potential constraints.
• Monitor and manage material requirements, purchase orders, scheduling agreements, and inventory levels to ensure material availability.
• Oversee Control Tower meetings, shop floor execution, and backlog management to maintain high on-time delivery performance.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of supply chain master data, including lead times, inventory parameters, safety stock levels, and MRP settings.
• Identify supply chain improvement opportunities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration among Materials, Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing and inventory optimization strategies.
• Escalate business risks in a timely manner and determine the best course of action to maintain operational performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop the planning team to achieve business objectives and customer satisfaction goals.
