Emerson is seeking a senior materials and supply chain professional to optimize inventory programs and lead ERP-enabled processes across manufacturing operations.

You will partner with finance and operations, standardize fulfillment strategies, and drive continuous improvement through analytics, training, and mentorship. The role emphasizes end-to-end supply chain leadership and data-driven decision making.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience in materials or project management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in materials management, operations, or project management using ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP systems for inventory, purchasing, order management, and advanced supply chain planning.

Responsabilidades

  • Optimize Inventory Performance: Drive inventory programs to achieve monthly inventory and ITO targets using planning methodologies.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with finance and operations to set inventory goals aligned with BI recommendations and objectives.
  • Standardized Fulfillment Strategies: Implement consistent fulfillment processes to support on-time delivery and meet ATP commitments.
  • Enhance Materials Strategies: Develop and execute strategies for raw materials through finished goods balancing investment and service levels.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work with plant leadership to identify constraints, improve product cycle times, and competitiveness.
  • Analytics & Tools Development: Create dashboards and predictive tools to monitor performance and aid decision-making.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide training, documentation, and mentorship to develop materials expertise.
  • ERP & Systems Leadership: Serve as an SME on ERP projects and advocate for supply chain requirements during system enhancements.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:
  • Optimize Inventory Performance: Drive inventory programs to achieve monthly inventory and Inventory Turnover (ITO) targets using advanced planning and scheduling methodologies
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with finance and operations teams to set inventory goals aligned with business intelligence recommendations and corporate objectives
  • Standardized Fulfillment Strategies: Implement consistent fulfillment processes to support on-time delivery, minimize late backlog, and meet lead-time and Available to Promise (ATP) commitments
  • Enhance Materials Strategies: Develop and execute strategies for raw materials through finished goods to balance inventory investment and service levels
  • Continuous Improvement: Work with plant leadership and Perfect Execution teams to identify constraints, improve product cycle times, and enhance competitiveness
  • Analytics & Tools Development: Create and maintain analytic dashboards and predictive tools to monitor performance and support decision-making
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide training, build documentation, and establish mentorship programs to develop materials expertise across the organization
  • ERP & Systems Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert on ERP projects and advocate for supply chain requirements during system enhancements
Who You Are

For this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionor high school diploma/GED with 9+ years of experience in materials or project management within a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in materials management, operations, or project management using ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP systems for inventory, purchasing, order management, and advanced supply chain planning
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Project management expertise with ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Familiarity with production control systems and routines
  • ASCM certifications (CPIM or CSCP) preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with proven ability to influence and inspire change
  • Advanced analytical skills, including experience creating ad hoc SQL queries and leveraging data visualization tools for insights and decision-making
