Overview

Core Responsibilities

• In ramp-ups and technical changes, receive customer requests and align with internal functional areas; schedule BoMs, software/hardware releases with project management and track deadlines.
• Support defined logistics projects; provide functional instruction to national and international project members according to project scope.
• Monitor and minimize blocked and obsolete stocks.
• Interface with Finance, IT, Sales, Project Management, and other Continental functions as needed.

• Advise and support other plant areas on customs and foreign trade procedures.
• Perform other position-related duties, programs, and foreign trade certifications as assigned by Management.
• Analyze and classify goods on an exception basis; coordinate SAP classification updates.
• Escalate clearance delays and gather missing information to ensure proper handling and clearance; follow applicable regional laws.
• Follow up on transfer of phased out product to OES; monitor returnable empty processes; coordinate communication between transportation, customs, and warehouse teams.
• Monitor customer systems (DDL.SMART, GM Supply Power) as needed; address CURA app follow-ups with responsible planners.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal fluency in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain logistics, International Business/Business Management or similar.
• Prefer minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Project Management experience preferred.
• Experience in international trade and customs processes a plus.
