Carrier México, S.A. de C.V. seeks a Materials Planning professional to support supply and demand planning, optimize materials availability, production planning, inventory and capacity to meet customer expectations.

You will contribute to process improvements and the development of effective materials planning and SIOP capabilities; requirements include a university degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Formación

• Experience in materials planning and/or SIOP.
• Knowledge of planning processes, systems, and tools.
• Knowledge of supply and demand planning, forecasting, inventory, capacity, and production planning.
• Nice to have: process enhancements, metrics tracking, cross-functional collaboration.

• Standardize processes within materials planning and SIOP to optimize resources and meet delivery expectations.
• Support demand forecasting, analyze demand streams, market trends, inventory position, and orders.
• Assist capacity and fulfillment planning with plant operations and monthly production planning.
• Track metrics and contribute to improvements and future SIOP capability, sustainability, and reliability.

About the role

As a Materials Planning, you will support the supply and demand planning process, helping optimize materials availability, production planning, inventory, and capacity to meet customer expectations. You will also contribute to process improvements and the development of effective materials planning and SIOP capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Materials Planning, you'll be responsible for:

• Participate in developing strategies for materials planning and SIOP.
• Support the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP to optimize business resources and meet customer delivery expectations.
• Support demand forecasting, including the analysis of demand streams, market trends, inventory position, and customer orders.
• Support capacity and fulfillment planning with plant manufacturing operations and participate in monthly production volume planning.
• Track metrics and participate in process improvements and the development of technologies that improve materials planning and SIOP capability, sustainability, and reliability.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are analytical, collaborative, proactive, and focused on continuous improvement. As a minimum you must have:

• University Degree or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience in materials planning and/or SIOP processes.
• Practical knowledge of planning processes, systems, and tools with the ability to leverage them in daily work.
• Knowledge of supply and demand planning, forecasting, inventory, capacity, and production planning.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Experience with process enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience developing and tracking metrics for materials planning and SIOP.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, product development, sales, and marketing.
