As a Materials Planner – SIOP, you will play a key role in enhancing Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes across Carrier's Residential and Light Commercial businesses. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to improve planning tools, optimize forecasting and supply planning processes, and drive operational excellence through data-driven decision making. Your work will directly support business performance by improving planning accuracy, process efficiency, and alignment between demand and supply.
As a Materials Planner – SIOP, you'll be responsible for:
Support strategic initiatives to improve SIOP processes, forecasting capabilities, and planning tools, including AI-driven solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive process improvements, communicate project progress, and ensure successful execution of key initiatives.
Develop and maintain Product Introduction/Product Obsolescence (PIPO) plans while aligning demand signals with factory supply planning.
Analyze planning data, document business processes, and partner with IT teams to define system requirements that enhance SIOP capabilities.
Benchmark best practices across Carrier business units and support adoption of standardized planning processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
We are looking for people who are analytical, collaborative, proactive, and passionate about driving continuous improvement through data and cross-functional teamwork.
Bachelor's degree.
3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or related planning functions.
Experience in forecasting, supply planning, demand planning, inventory planning, or materials management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and improve business processes.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and working with ERP or planning systems.
Experience with SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
Experience supporting process improvement, system implementations, or business transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel, along with familiarity with AI-enabled planning solutions.
