Tijuana BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) in Mexico is seeking a Production Planner to convert customer demand into production signals using SAP and the MRP system. You will align plans with plant goals for on-time delivery, productivity and backlog management.

Responsibilities include creating and delivering production plans and sequences, coordinating with line supervisors and the purchasing team, monitoring material shortages, and communicating backlog status to customer service.

Formación

• Experience converting customer demand into production signals using SAP.
• Ability to translate MRP signals into work orders and production sequences.
• Strong cross-functional coordination with purchasing and production line teams.
• Focus on on-time delivery, productivity, and backlog management.
• Capability to escalate issues and drive root-cause analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Create work orders from MRP signals to meet customer demand and maintain workflow.
• Develop and deliver a production plan and sequence to hit OTD and productivity.
• Coordinate with line supervisors and purchasing to ensure schedule attainment.
• Monitor material shortages and report to purchasing.
• Communicate backlog status and customer service updates regularly.
• Track production control status of work orders and adjust plans as needed.
• Support escalation of issues affecting OTD, sales, and productivity.
• Assist in negotiations regarding claims with suppliers when needed.
