Birdman in Zapopan, Mexico, is seeking a Materials Planner to strengthen supply chain planning as the company grows toward international expansion, including the U.S. market.

You will analyze inventories, coordinate with suppliers, and develop replenishment strategies to ensure on-time production while optimizing stock levels. A bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in materials planning are required; advanced Excel and ERP experience are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in materials planning, demand analysis, or supply chain operations.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience working with ERP systems (MRP modules preferred).
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze inventory levels, historical consumption, and sales forecasts to calculate material requirements.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials and inputs to support weekly and monthly production plans.
• Develop and maintain material replenishment plans aligned with inventory policies and service level targets.
• Determine optimal purchasing quantities considering lead times, MOQ, safety stock, and demand variability.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and proactively manage delays or shortages.
• Monitor slow-moving, excess, or expiring materials and execute mitigation actions to reduce risk and cost.
• Generate daily and weekly inventory and materials planning reports, highlighting shortages, overstock, and key KPIs.
• Update supply plans based on production capacity changes, shifting priorities, and evolving business needs.
• Support cross-border supply planning activities for U.S. operations, ensuring material readiness and continuity.
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to improve planning processes and execution.
