SKF Group is seeking a Production Planner to join our manufacturing operations in Zapopan, Jalisco. This role is ideal for an engineer with a foundation in production planning, systems, and Lean Manufacturing. Responsibilities include creating detailed production plans, managing inventory and schedules, and interacting with global stakeholders. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience. This position supports growth in a global and collaborative environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing, planning, or engineering roles.
• Solid understanding of production planning concepts and systems.

This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong foundation in production planning, systems, and Lean Manufacturing, who is ready to grow in a global and collaborative environment.

What you’ll do

• Create and maintain detailed production plans to meet customer demand.
• Work closely with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Logistics, both locally and globally.
• Manage MRP/ERP recommendations, inventory levels, and production schedules.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on material flow, inventory optimization, and on-time delivery.
• Interact with global stakeholders, requiring regular communication in English.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related).
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, planning, or engineering roles.
• Solid understanding of production planning concepts and systems.
• Experience or exposure to Lean Manufacturing.
• Conversational to advanced English (mandatory – global interaction).
• Availability to work on-site in Zapopan and one Saturday every two weeks (no shift rotation).
• Close exposure to senior technical profiles and mentors.
• Hands-on experience in a Lean, structured manufacturing environment.
• Interaction with international teams in purchasing and logistics.
