The Materials Planner/Buyer is responsible for developing and managing material planning strategies, procuring raw materials, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to ensure material availability for production and achieve on-time delivery goals. This role involves creating and executing effective procurement strategies to ensure operational excellence, analyzing data, preparing forecasts and reports, and collaborating with production, scheduling, operations, and external suppliers to optimize supply chain performance, mitigate risks, and resolve material supply challenges effectively.

• 6+ years of directly applicable Procurement and Supply Chain Experience is needed,
• Preferably in low volume / high mix environments.
• Proficient at developing direct and indirect materials procurement strategies, has to be proficient in data analysis and swift at translating complex data challenges into actionable data for the team.
• The ideal candidate will leverage an effective supplier relationship management to ensure on time delivery of materials and to reduce costs where possible.
• APICS / ASCM certification is desirable, i.e., C.P.M., CPIM, CPSM, CSCP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP / MRP systems is a must.
• Fully bilingual English / Spanish
