Role Summary Job Description Responsible for managing and optimizing supply chain operations, including material planning, procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics. Ensures efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and fulfillment of key performance indicators (KPIs) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Main Tasks
Oversee daily supply chain and logistics operations to maximize efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Manage material planning, procurement, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, transport, and distribution.
Analyze and refine procedures to streamline processes and meet customer demands.
Ensure cost-effective movement, storage, and processing of inventory.
Develop and implement schedules and procedures to optimize logistics and material flow.
Allocate resources to meet targets, including transit and delivery times, inventory levels, and storage costs.
Collaborate with functional and operational managers to integrate supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
Lead, train, and mentor employees to enhance productivity and ensure work schedules and targets are met.
Manage inventory control programs, ensuring end-to-end supply chain efficiency.
Optimize warehouse functions, focusing on inventory accuracy, storage efficiency, and safety compliance.
Actively engage in data capturing, audits, physical inventory, cycle counting, and non-conformance material flow processes.
Oversee raw material planning and production scheduling to support manufacturing operations.
Manage and improve budget adherence, compensating for deviations when necessary.
Your Profile
Minimum 5 years of logistics experience and 5 years in the automotive industry.
Supply chain experience within a manufacturing facility, with knowledge of production processes.
Strong expertise in customer service, including demand fluctuation management and stabilization strategies.
Hands-on experience in inventory management, including reduction strategies and accuracy improvement.
Proficiency in SAP ERP systems (transactions, warehouse management, and module management).
Experience with Automotive Customer Portals (Ford, Stellantis, Tesla, GM).
C1-level English communication skills.
Excellent negotiation skills with customers and suppliers, with strong attention to detail.
Strong ability to communicate with customers and suppliers.
Ability to take initiative, and problem-solve effectively in a team environment.
Experience leading teams of at least 60 employees, with a focus on engagement and professional development.
Preferred Skills:
MP&L management experience in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment.
SAP warehouse management system experience.
