A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering is required, along with strong expertise in quality systems and documentation. Formación

  • 10+ years of experience as a Laboratory Engineer in the Aerospace industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry specifications (ASTM, AMS, Military Standard).
  • Strong expertise in quality systems and documentation (ISO 17025).

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute complex testing activities in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Prepare, review, and approve detailed testing reports.
  • Support laboratory projects of medium complexity, following priorities defined by the Section Chief.
  • Review and approve internal procedures related to laboratory testing.
  • Review and approve equipment maintenance activities and contributes to the development of usage procedures.
  • Plan activities within area of expertise for mid- to long-term objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Address problems of diverse scope; apply expertise to resolve intermediate to complex issues and is comfortable handling non-standard tasks and queries.
  • Respond to internal and external customer requests and may interface with external collaborators on commercial matters.
  • Collaborate with other teams to share knowledge and information.
  • Provide training to staff as needed.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Laboratory Engineer in the Aerospace industry.
  • You have an advanced knowledge of industry specifications (ASTM,AMS andMilitary Standard).
  • You have a strong expertise in quality systems and documentation (ISO 17025).
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of commitment and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure, partner/supplier team environment.
  • You have proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
