Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Material Analyst II in our Procurement Execution Center in Mexico. You will enable PBU Directors, Managers, Buyers and Plant buyers through advanced data analysis, ERP reporting, and process optimization.

You will manage compliance workflows, support continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate across teams to enhance planning and procurement efficiency. Strong English and SAP experience are required.

Formación

  • 2+ years of experience in Materials Management (planning, procurement, supplier management).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., arrays, INDEX/MATCH).
  • Experience with SAP and Material Requirements Planning tools preferred.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement using Lean/Quality tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data analytics knowledge.
  • APICS or ISM CPSM certifications are a plus.
  • Business/conversational English required.

Responsabilidades

  • Run reports from ERP systems and monitor dashboard performance.
  • Ensure dashboards are 100% available by troubleshooting data issues.
  • Collaborate with global teams to align SAP best practices across units.
  • Update lead times, MOQ, UOM, and payment terms in ERP records.
  • Suggest process improvements based on data analysis and compliance.
  • Lead monthly/quarterly reviews with plant materials teams.
  • Maintain lead time accuracy in ERP systems and update PIR records.
  • Use Power Apps for PIR creation and PO price updates.

What will you do?

Join our Procurement Execution Center as a Material Analyst II, where you will enable PBU Directors, PBU Managers, PBU Buyers and Plant buyers through advanced data analysis, ERP reporting, and process optimization. You will manage compliance workflows, support continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate across teams to enhance planning and procurement efficiency.

How will you do it?
  • Work with ERP systems to run reports and monitor dashboard performance.
  • Ensure 100% availability of assigned dashboards by proactively troubleshooting and resolving data issues.
  • Participate in global teams to align SAP best practices across business units.
  • Update MOQ, UOM, and Payment Terms in Material Master and PIR records to support continuous improvement.
  • Suggest process improvements based on data analysis and compliance requirements.
  • Drive disciplined monthly/quarterly reviews with plant materials teams to maintain credibility in component master data.
  • Use standardized update formats and conduct monthly process improvement reviews across each Business Unit.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of lead times in ERP systems.
  • Utilize Power App workflows for PIR creation and PO price updates across all assigned plants.
  • Monitor compliance through weekly audit reports and address gaps promptly.
  • Track SLA performance through weekly compliance reports.
  • Implement corrective actions to ensure timely response to PIR requests.
  • Conduct one Power App governance training session per month with PBUs and Plant Buyers.
What are we looking for?
  • 2+ years of experience in Materials Management (planning, procurement, supplier management).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong MS Office skills; advanced Excel preferred (e.g., Arrays, INDEX/MATCH).
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning tools (SAP desired).
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement using Lean/Quality tools.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge in Data Analytics.
  • APICS or ISM CPSM certifications are a plus.
  • Business/conversational English required.
