Job summary

Flex in Juarez Sur is seeking a Material Planning Analyst to support production planning and data analysis within the Global Procurement & Supply Chain team.

The role involves auditing data, preparing reports, and managing purchase orders while maintaining data accuracy and monitoring KPIs such as material availability and on-time delivery. A bachelor’s degree and advanced English plus MS Office skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Create or maintain databases to support data collection.
• Identify and escalate data integrity issues and quotations.
• Suggest process improvements for metric tracking activities.
• Track materials financial performance and trigger corrective actions.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Production Planning Manager, the Material Planning Analyst’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Assists in auditing data for accuracy and preparing summary reports, spreadsheets, graphics and charts based on the analysis of data.

• May assist in the preparation of recommendations to management based on the analysis of data.

• Collects, compiles, analyzes and presents various types of data.

• Prepares summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on analysis of data from multiple sources, which may include but will not be limited to customer bills of material reports, staff metrics, PPV metrics, and PPV form tracking.

• May create and/or maintain databases in support of data collection.

• Audits data. Challenges and resolves data integrity issues, including but not limited to quotations.

• Proactively identifies and escalates potential issues related to metrics.

• Where applicable, suggest process/communication improvements related to metric tracking activities.

• Tracks materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required.

• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Material Availability (%), On-Time Delivery (OTD), Inventory Turns, Excess & Obsolete Inventory, Material Shortage Incidents, Production Schedule Adherence & Supplier On-Time Delivery.
