Job summary

Siemens in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico is seeking a skilled Material Planner. You will plan materials, manage safety stock, and perform MRP analyses to meet production needs.

You will also coordinate with supplier base to ensure on-time deliveries, support shipping and invoicing processes, and drive KPI improvements across the supply chain. Fluency in English and SAP experience are valued.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Logistics, IR, Admin or related.
• At least 6 years in materials planning.
• Supply chain knowledge; Analytics tools (Power BI/ Tableau) a plus.
• Six Sigma knowledge; Advanced English; SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan materials and maintain safety stock per MRP.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock levels; handle shipping, invoicing and receiving; improve KPI delivery.

What will you do?

Material Planner will be responsible of material planning, fulfill ROP (safety stock) according to MRP analysis and exchange communication with the supplier base to achieve the required and optimum stock level to meet demand and customers’ needs.

The Material planner will also ensure the supply chain of his/her materials to mitigate production down time. He/she will be involved in shipping, invoicing and receiving areas as well as working with suppliers to increase KPI supplier delivery.

What will you need to succeed?

• Professional B.S. degree in Logistics, International Relations, Administration, Industrial Engineering or related
• At least 6 years of materials planning experience
• Supply chain knowledge
• Data Analysis (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
• Six sigma knowledge
