Job summary

Siemens AG is seeking a seasoned Material Planner to manage material requirements, maintain safety stocks, and liaise with supplier networks to ensure steady production flow. You will oversee MRP-driven planning and collaborate across logistics, procurement, and manufacturing teams to optimize stock levels and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of six years in materials planning, strong SAP knowledge, and proven experience in supply chain analytics using BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in logistics, international relations, admin, industrial engineering or related.
• Minimum 6 years of materials planning experience.
• Strong supply chain knowledge and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan material requirements to meet MRP and safety stock levels.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and optimise KPI.
• Support shipping, invoicing, receiving activities as needed.

What will you do?

Material Planner will be responsible of material planning, fulfill ROP (safety stock) according to MRP analysis and exchange communication with the supplier base to achieve the required and optimum stock level to meet demand and customers' needs.

The Material planner will also ensure the supply chain of his/her materials to mitigate production down time. He/she will be involved in shipping, invoicing and receiving areas as well as working with suppliers to increase KPI supplier delivery.

What will you need to succeed?

• Professional B.S. degree in Logistics, International Relations, Administration, Industrial Engineering or related
• At least 6 years of materials planning experience
• Supply chain knowledge
• Data Analysis (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
• Six sigma knowledge
• SAP
