Material Planner

As an Indirect Materials Planner at our company, you will be responsible for executing requisition orders for indirect materials, services, and general operating supplies from demand (requisition) through delivery. Using a clear understanding of financial impact and business accounting as it pertains to purchasing, you will maintain communication with suppliers and internal customers.

• Responsible for submitting the Indirect material requisitions based on consumables Facilities needs.
• Responsible for interpreting the Consumables Facilities indirect material requests and analyzing data related to material usage and inventory levels.
• Work with Users and Finance Controller to accomplish Monthly Budget threshold.
• Maintain the Indirect MRP /KB Items within the SS required.
• Ensure on-time delivery of purchase orders with the supplier.
• Maintain the Kanban Loops updated using Std Deviation Kanban Formula.
• Add or remove material from stock based on consumption.
• Obtain quotations for indirect materials on new parts.
• Administer installed rack capacity in the Tool Crib.

• Minimum of 1 year of material planner experience
