Job summary

Bombardier in Mexico’s Aerospace division is seeking a Material Logistics Agent to manage purchase orders, supplier coordination and on-time parts delivery.

You will monitor KPIs and collaborate with Logistics, Finance, Production and Quality to ensure contractual compliance while pursuing cost and cycle-time improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Administration or Operations management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in related roles.
• Experience with SAP and BAAN is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Place Purchase Orders, follow up with suppliers and assure parts are received on time and as per schedule.
• Administer portfolio activities related to invoices and PO pricing issues.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction while optimizing quality, time cycle and costs.
• Monitor and confirm the delivery of parts to production in close collaboration with internal partner functions (Logistics – Line function).
• Maintain Operational and Financial Key Performance Indicators.
• Interact with multi-disciplinary teams (Logistics – Line, Programs, Finance, Production and Quality).
• Apply and follow contractual terms with suppliers.
• Negotiate and implement change management requests and secure the associated purchase order requirements.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Administration or Operations management with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience
• You have experience with SAP and BAAN an asset
• You possess a strong sense of ethics and are customer focused.
• You have excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• You have good knowledge of MS Office
