Bombardier is seeking a Methods Agent in Chihuahua with remote work options. You will manage change-management activities up to delivery with suppliers, ensure alignment with the production schedule, and travel to supplier sites to validate manufacturing methods.

The role emphasizes cost optimization, supplier collaboration, and logistics coordination. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in machined parts manufacturing or related methods work, fluency in Spanish and English, and experience with Catia

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in machined metal or sheet metal parts manufacturing, or as a Methods Agent.
• Experience with Catia V5, SolidWorks and TeamCenter.
• Experience with SAP.
• Willing to travel to supplier sites and comfortable working fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage change-management activities up to the first unit delivery with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier relationships to optimize quality, timing and costs.
• Influence suppliers to meet on-time delivery at best cost.
• Travel to supplier sites to validate manufacturing methods.
• Participate in cost-reduction initiatives and Kaizen/workshops.
• Collaborate with logistics planners to meet production requirements.

In this role, you will be required to:

• Manage change‑management activities up to the delivery of the first unit, and ensure adherence to the product development schedule with suppliers for the commodity — external manufacturing.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction while optimizing quality, timing, and costs for the organization
• Manage and influence suppliers to ensure the achievement of on‑time delivery objectives for parts at the best possible cost
• Travel to supplier sites to support and validate the manufacturing methods of our parts according to Bombardier requirements
• Participate in cost‑reduction initiatives according to established objectives
• Identify and participate in improvement projects (Kaizen/Workshops, Deep Dives) as well as maintain and develop the business relationship with the supplier base
• Work closely with logistics planners to meet production requirements

How to thrive in this role?

As the ideal candidate:

• You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the manufacturing of machined metal parts and/or sheet metal parts, or as a Methods Agent who has supported the production of such parts.
• You have experience with Catia V5, SolidWorks, and TeamCenter.
• You have experience in outside processing (OP) — an asset.
• Experience in the aerospace industry is an asset.
• You have experience with SAP.
• You possess a strong ethical sense and are customer‑focused. You have good analytical, planning, and problem‑solving skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities.
• You can work in both Spanish and English (required).
• You have strong project management skills and good knowledge of logistics.
• You are available to travel to our Mexican suppliers at any time, and you have a Canadian or U.S. visa for travel — an asset.
• More specifically, you located in the Chihuahua area, are available to travel, are comfortable working fully remote, and possess a car and a drivers licence to be able to visit suppliers on a regular basis.
