Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Material Flow Technician to support the internal material supply, replenishment, and handling on the production floor. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, and Warehouse to ensure material availability and minimize line disruptions.

Responsibilities include monitoring material flow, supporting Kanban and replenishment, and improving inventory accuracy and delivery processes through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Technical or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, SCM or related field.
• Experience in material flow, production logistics, inventory management or manufacturing support.
• Knowledge of Kanban, replenishment, kitting, and internal replenishment.
• Familiarity with PFEP (Plan for Every Part) and ABC/XYZ analyses.
• Knowledge of tugger routes or similar internal material supply systems.
• Intermediate Excel skills for tracking and analysis.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both operations and administrative teams.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material flow to ensure timely supply to production.
• Support Kanban systems, pick lists, replenishment and material kitting.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning and Warehouse to resolve shortages and urgent needs.
• Verify inventory levels and support record accuracy and internal deliveries.
• Participate in PFEP and ABC/XYZ analyses to improve material handling.
• Support definition and monitoring of tugger routes and internal delivery methods.
• Track KPIs related to material availability, line stoppages and logistics efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in material delivery and inventory management.
