Formación

Job Description

Material Flow Industrial Engineer

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for housekeeping standards and continuous improvement within the warehouse.
  2. Improve the utilization of space inside the warehouse and shop floor.
  3. Work with Continuous Improvement team & Manufacturing team to improve order integrity, implement Lean/Visual management techniques, and analyze hourly employee performance relative to unit picks per hour and overall efficiencies.
  4. Break down daily duties to meet and defend established labor standards.
  5. Develop a plan for every part.
  6. Drive continuous process improvement and cost reduction programs.
  7. Design routes and schedules for material flow inside the plant.
  8. Design flow for Waterspider activities.
  9. Ensure safety and ergonomics conditions in the warehouse and material handling activities.
  10. Adapt continuous improvement approach of the Rockwell Operating System (ROS) and Warehouse to optimize safety, quality, lead time, and cost.
  11. Participate in the Safety observation program and involve EHS prior to implementing new routes or processes.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience with line design, Kaizen activities, process improvement, and Lean concepts.
  • Knowledge of Safety Management, Data Entry Management, Reporting Skills, SAP, and information analysis.
  • Deadline-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Experience with equipment maintenance and organization.
  • Report to Warehouse Manager.
