Stellantis in Saltillo, Mexico seeks a Material Handling Supervisor to lead hourly teams and ensure timely material receiving, storage, picking, and delivery that keep daily production targets on track.

You will troubleshoot issues as they arise, allocate materials and manpower, coordinate with Production, Purchasing, and Planning to guarantee continuous material flow, and monitor inventory with FIFO/FEFO practices.

• Supervise daily operations related to receiving, storing, picking, and delivering materials.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, and Planning to guarantee continuous material flow.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper rotation of materials (FIFO/FEFO).
• Ensure compliance with safe material handling procedures and proper use of internal transportation equipment.
• Identify and resolve issues related to material supply to production lines.
• Validate inventory records and participate in cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Ensure team members are properly trained and equipped with necessary tools and resources.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and picking efficiency.
• Promote and enforce safety and 5S standards within the work area.

Descripción del empleo

The Material Handling Supervisor is responsible for leading teams of hourly, bargaining employees in completing material receiving and delivery activities that enable the plant to meet daily production targets. This role directly supports daily production; the Material Handling Supervisor is responsible for troubleshooting problems as they arise and allocating resources and manpower accordingly to resolve issues without impact to plant throughput performance. The Material Handling Supervisor participates in and promotes lean Stellantis Production Way activities.
