Job summary

Koch is seeking a Planning Manager in Baja California, Mexico to lead the Master Production Schedule and align demand with capacity across electronics, medical devices, aerospace, and defense sectors. You will ensure on-time deliveries, optimize inventory, and drive continuous improvement in a high-volume environment.

The role requires 5–8 years in planning within Maquiladoras, leadership experience, and strong proficiency in Office tools, Glovia, and Intelex.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics or related field.
5–8 years of experience in Maquiladoras in planning roles.
2–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Proficient with Office tools (Word, Excel, Power BI).

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Balance customer demand with available manufacturing capacity.
Coordinate production scheduling considering capacity, material availability, and priorities.
Monitor and adjust production plans based on demand fluctuations and constraints.
Ensure schedules support delivery commitments and business objectives.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Materials, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
Support inventory reduction initiatives while maintaining customer commitments.
