We are looking for a highly driven and creative Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our brand voice, content strategy, campaigns, and demand generation initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of storytelling and strategy and is eager to build scalable marketing systems while producing high-quality content that resonates with our audience.

As a Marketing Specialist, you'll play a critical role in shaping how the world sees and engages with our brand, from creating compelling thought leadership to running product campaigns to leading a team of marketers. You'll be a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of content creation, growth marketing, campaign management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Positioning

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Stay informed by following relevant influencers on LinkedIn and subscribing to industry-leading blogs and newsletters.
  • Translate research into actionable insights to shape messaging, product positioning, and campaign strategies.
  • Understand the nuances between productivity and efficiency in messaging to align with the market's evolving language.

Content Strategy & Development

Own content strategy and execution across all platforms, including blogs, website, social media, and email.

Create And Manage Engaging Content Including

Blog posts & social content

Product updates & new feature releases

Case studies, whitepapers, and thought leadership

Podcasts & webinars

Onboarding slides, sales decks, one-pagers, and landing pages

Maintain a consistent, strong brand voice across all materials.

Campaign Management

  • Plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across:
  • Email (HubSpot), social (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), Intercom
  • Product launches and feature announcements
  • Webinars and virtual events
  • Digital & traditional media
  • Manage creative production using tools like Canva and other marketing platforms

Lead Generation & Funnel Growth

  • Build and execute strategies to generate 8 qualified leads/month, leveraging content, campaigns,and paid/organic channels.
  • Develop landing pages and targeted assets to support inbound lead generation.
  • Collaborate with sales to ensure proper lead nurturing and conversion tracking.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor KPIs across all marketing channels to evaluate performance and ROI.
  • Provide monthly reports on:
  • Website traffic and engagement
  • Event performance
  • Campaign results
  • Lead pipeline and conversions
  • Recommend optimizations based on data insights.

Brand & Messaging Leadership

  • Ensure consistent branding and visual identity across all internal and external touchpoints.
  • Shape messaging that reflects a deep understanding of the product and customer journey.
  • Collaborate with Product, Tech, CS, and Sales to align messaging and deliver design needs.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Act as a Product, Customer Success, and Sales marketing partner.
  • Create marketing assets based on department needs (product release slides, feature highlights,

etc.).

  • Communicate regularly with customers, stakeholders, and partners,especially in key markets

like NYC.

Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate efforts between in-house talent and external vendors or freelancers as needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing roles, ideally with experience leading a team or a function.
  • Proven experience in content marketing, campaign execution, and growth marketing.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality written content across different formats.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Intercom, Google Analytics, and Canva.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of branding, customer segmentation, and messaging best practices.
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS, tech, or startup environments is a strong plus.
