- The Marketing and Business Development department is a highly collaborative team of professionals who work closely across practice groups, sectors, and geographies.
- The Marketing Manager is a critical role for the Latin America marketing team with a mission to elevate the brand and services of the Mexico City office among the firm’s US and global practice groups.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that deliver results that support brand strategy and focus on integration across the Americas.
- Evaluate the current campaigns (some have been developed), edit and grow them, or even recreate them to fit the target market.
- Manage client-centric and data-driven integrated marketing campaigns that deliver results against strategic priorities.
- Understand key business issues our clients are facing, market dynamics, and competitive strategies to improve messaging and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop marketing collateral and content, leveraging a solid knowledge of practice capabilities and the region’s value proposition.
- Drive an effective strategy for achieving awards and directories’ recognition that reflects the region’s practice-specific capabilities and successes on behalf of clients.
- Collaborate with Latin America leadership, lateral partner integration teams, and US marketers in the onboarding and integration of critical laterals and their client base.
- Assist with planning Mexico City's internal and external events.
- Collaborate with the office manager, office leadership, and Managing Partner to develop and manage the Mexico City marketing budget, aligning with regional and global strategic priorities.
- Measure and track the results of marketing programs and report on ROI.
- This professional will collaborate closely with colleagues in the U.S. and globally to enhance awareness of the Mexico City office’s capabilities and success, inside and outside the firm.
Background Requirements:
- 5-8 years of marketing experience in a larger professional services organization.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience with a global law firm is a plus. In addition, this individual will partner with other teams in the Marketing and Business Development Department, including communications, events, business development, administrative, and executive team members, to achieve business objectives.
- The position requires a self-starter with accomplished critical thinking skills and an understanding of Mexico City and the broader Latin American business and legal market.
- Have a consultative approach to selling.
- Needs to be articulate, professional, and a team player.
- This individual should understand sophisticated client needs and execute strategic marketing plans that reflect the issues driving the demand for legal services.
- This individual should also be able to analyze research, identify and execute cross-selling opportunities, and support integrated multijurisdictional pursuits.
Education:
BA/BS degree in marketing communications, business, or related field is required.
