British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Analytics - Global Graduate Management Trainee in México.

Role Summary

Our Global Graduate Program (GGP) is an entry-level opportunity designed for recent college graduates with up to 1 year of work experience (as maximum) who wish to fast track their career within a global organization.The 18-month rotational programme is structured to grow essential business and leadership skills through world class learning, international exposure and a job role where graduates can contribute from day one.

Our Global Graduate community come together for a two-week Graduate Academy (one week in London) for a deep dive into BAT where they connect with fellow Graduates and senior colleagues from across the globe.

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

Our Global Graduate Program aims to develop exceptional commercial & strategical business skills - fully understanding the dynamics of the market you are operating in, and how the BAT Marketing departments such as Brands, Trade Marketing & Development, Consumer Experience, Consumer Insights and Foresights, Customer Management work together to achieve outstanding business results.

You will work as part of our accelerated management program in different marketing rotations,starting your career journey at Trade Marketing & Distribution across Mexico and moving forward into different marketing subfunctions in Area Office Monterrey.These rotations will allow you to develop and present strategic business projects addressing real opportunities and creating action plans.

Geographic Scope: Monterrey, Ciudad de México, Guadalajara

Travel Required: Yes

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

• Contact with the customer, to manage their order and to offer them the products of the portfolio and partnership. In addition, to provide advice to optimize the effectiveness of the sales process.
• Review coverage details, confirm cycle activities and understand key indicators of the day for better pre-sale execution.
• Responsible for analyzing market trends and Sell Out reports from the main national Key Accounts for the taking of actions that accelerate the growth of our portfolio.
• Ensure product supply to customers by monitoring product inventory levels. Supply chain volume negotiation, order negotiation based on seasonality and forecast.
• Execute the Trade Engagement and Discount Strategies in the marketing & sales systems.
• E-commerce content driven by data-based commercial insights to support promotion grid decision.
• Ensure compliance of the sales KPIs and product impact.
• Support the strategic plans of the brands.
• Design content plans for the brands in the LANCAR markets.
• Management of the coverage agency for brand activations and monitoring of the market performance tracker’s main KPIs.

YOU COULD BE THE NEXT GLOBAL GRADUATE IF YOU:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Finance and Accounting, Business Intelligence, Global Business, Strategy and Business Transformation, Data Science and Mathematics, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Business Management and Administration, Economics, International Finance, Business Engineering Management and Marketing.
• Recent graduates (graduation from July 2024 to July 2025).

• No more than 1 year of professional experience in one of these undergraduate areas (relevant internship experience will be considered).
• Fluent in English (advanced proficiency in oral & writing)
• Advance levels in MS Office Programs.
• Experience in Data Driven Projects.
• Are open to relocate globally.
• Strong interpersonal, team building and negotiation skills.
• Upbeat, self-motivated, highly adaptable, and able to work independently.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Have leadership skills demonstrated through either relevant professional experience or extra-curricular activities within prestigious companies, NGOs, student associations, etc.
