Job summary

Resideo seeks a Director of Mexico Trade Compliance and IMMEX to oversee regional strategy, ensure Mexican customs and maquiladora compliance, and lead audits. The role partners with Operations, Legal and Logistics to optimize duty savings and regulatory alignment.

You will manage IMMMEX programs, supervise a team of customs professionals, and drive data integrity, reporting and continuous improvement across Mexico facilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in global trade compliance with maquiladora operations.
• Deep expertise in Mexican Customs Law, IMMEX, USMCA, VAT/IEPS.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and customs portals (ACE or equivalents).
• Strong background in Supply Chain, International Trade, or law.
• Verbal and written English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional Mexico trade compliance strategy and IMMEX programs.
• Oversee audits, risk mitigation, and regulatory reporting across facilities.
• Mentor customs professionals and align operations with regulatory goals.
• Coordinate cross-border activity and liaise with government authorities.
• Implement or optimize trade systems across facilities.
