TE Connectivity Corporation in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico seeks a manufacturing technician to support production through setup, calibration, testing and maintenance of equipment.

You will operate basic production equipment, follow blueprints and diagrams to meet specifications and tolerances, and assist in modifying or designing equipment for continual manufacturing process improvements, as well as quality control and in-process testing.

Formación

• High school diploma required; AA degree preferred.
• 3–4 years or more of related work experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematics.
• Assist in modifying existing equipment or designing new equipment for process improvements and quality control.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct basic calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustained production.
• Operate basic production equipment and tools in the manufacture, assembly, and packaging of products.
• Follow blueprints, guidelines, diagrams and schematics to meet specifications and tolerance levels.
• Assist manufacturing team in continual process improvements and in-process production testing.

Job Overview

Performs basic activities to assist in manufacturing and assembling various products per established facility processes including set-up, calibration, testing, maintenance, and production operation.

Job Requirements

• Conducting basic equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustained production.
• Operating basic production equipment and tools in the manufacture, assembly, and packaging of various products.
• Following blueprints, guidelines, diagrams and schematics to ensure product and customer specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Assisting as part of manufacturing team in modifying existing equipment or designing new equipment for continual manufacturing process improvement, as well as quality control and in-process production testing.

What your background should look like

Typically requires 3-4 years or more of related work experience. Requires high school diploma. Completion of an AA degree or equivalent is preferred.
