Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, and production support in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts including 5S, TPM, VSM, Kaizen, DMAIC, takt time, SPC, and process capability analysis.
  • Proficiency with PFMEA, Control Plans, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools.
  • MS Office and manufacturing engineering software such as AutoCAD and Minitab.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and optimization of manufacturing processes, including machinery, equipment, tooling, and automation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, TPM, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, and related methods.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and other quality tools.
  • Manage engineering change projects and process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity metrics.
  • Supervise and develop technical support personnel; establish training and certification programs for key operations.

About the Role

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading manufacturing engineering activities that drive operational excellence, productivity, quality, and safety. This role oversees process development, continuous improvement initiatives, engineering changes, and manufacturing optimization while providing technical leadership to support production and business objectives. The position plays a key role in improving manufacturing capabilities, reducing costs, and ensuring efficient utilization of equipment and resources.

Key Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading the development and optimization of manufacturing processes, including machinery, equipment, tooling, automation systems, and production methods.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles, TPM, Kaizen, VSM, setup reduction (SMED), process balancing, and other operational excellence methodologies.
  • Performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions using PFMEA, Control Plans, RRCA, SPC, Cpk/Ppk, and other quality tools.
  • Managing engineering change projects and process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity metrics.
  • Supervising and developing technical support personnel while establishing training and certification programs for critical manufacturing operations.
Requirements

We are looking for people who are analytical, results-driven, collaborative, and passionate about continuous improvement.

As a minimum you must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, and production support within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial engineering and Lean Manufacturing concepts, including 5S, TPM, VSM, Kaizen, DMAIC, takt time, SPC, and process capability analysis.
  • Experience with problem-solving methodologies, PFMEA, Control Plans, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing engineering software such as AutoCAD and Minitab.
  • Advanced English proficiency
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
  • Experience working with automation systems, robotics, CNC equipment, PLCs (Allen‑Bradley and Siemens), conveyors, sensors, and drives.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems, including interpretation of technical drawings and schematics.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
