Bosch México in Toluca is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, develop, and optimize the manufacturing methods for assigned lines. You will lead continuous improvement, reduce downtime, and ensure safety and quality through proper tooling and documentation.

Formación

• Engineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Mechatronic
• 1–3 years of experience in the Automotive Industry
• Advanced English level
• Lean manufacturing knowledge
• Problem solving using 8D methodology

Responsabilidades

• Define, develop, optimize and update manufacturing processes as required by product specifications and set targets
• Lead Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving to reduce production downtime and losses
• Create and update production documentation (FMEA, visual aids, flow diagram, control plan)
• Fulfill all manufacturing safety requirements for production lines
• Provide tool specifications and changes to tooling to ensure continuity and quality
• Develop quality assurance processes using required tools
• Ensure process efficiency by meeting scrap and cost targets

Job Description

Main Objective

Responsible for planning, developing, updating and optimizing the manufacturing methods and processes of the assigned lines.

What challenges will you have?

• Define, develop, optimize and update manufacturing processes as required by product specifications and set targets.


• Responsible for reducing down times on production: lead the Continuous Improvement Process and Problem Solving for reducing losses in the manufacturing process.


• Create and update the required documentation for production (FMEA, visual aids, flow diagram, control plan, etc.).


• Fulfill all manufacturing requirements for the safety of the production lines.


• Provide the correct tool specifications and the required changes in toolings in order to ensure the continuity and quality during production.


• Develop quality assurance processes by implementing the required quality tools.


• Ensure the efficiency of the manufacturing process by fulfilling the targets for scrap and failure costs

Qualifications
