Robert Bosch Group Queretaro Plant is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to guarantee equipment reliability by driving a proactive maintenance strategy. The role focuses on preventing issues, solving problems, and collaborating with Production, Processes, and Quality to boost OEE.

You will lead TPM-driven preventive and predictive programs, perform root cause analysis, and provide technical leadership including spare parts planning for critical components.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, PLCs, controls, and robotics.
• Able to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Familiar with TPM and structured problem-solving methods (8D, Shainin).
• Proactive, ownership-minded with structured thinking and data-driven mindset.
• Collaborative and cross-departmental communication.

Job Description

To guarantee the reliability of our production equipment by driving a proactive maintenance strategy. This role focuses on preventing issues, executing problem-solving, and collaborating closely with Production, Processes, and Quality to boost overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Main Responsibilities

• Drive Proactive Maintenance: Develop, manage, and optimize data-driven preventive and predictive maintenance programs (TPM) to anticipate failures.
• Collaborate for Improvement: Act as the key maintenance partner for Production, Processes, and Quality teams to enhance equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of equipment failures to implement robust, long-term solutions and prevent recurrence.
• Provide Technical Leadership: Offer high-level support for complex equipment issues and manage spare parts strategy for critical components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, PLCs, industrial controls, and robotics.
• Proficient in reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Familiar with TPM principles (Corrective, Preventive, Predictive) and structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Shainin).
• Proactive & Preventive Mindset: You don't just fix today's problems; you prevent tomorrow's.
• Deep Sense of Ownership: You feel accountable for equipment performance and see challenges through to the end.
• Structured thinking:Organizes daily activities, prioritizes according to importance, and applies analyticalthinking instead of acting on impulse.
