Job summary

Radiall Mexico is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize production safety, quality, costs and deadlines through complex projects. You will support development teams by sharing your experience on production processes to empower the sites.

You may manage or participate in transferring complex production processes, study variances using DMAIC and 8D, perform PFMEA risk analyses, and set up new equipment from specs to validation, contributing to continuous improvement and plant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Optimize production according to safety, quality, costs and deadlines through complex projects.
• Share experience on production processes to empower development teams.
• Manage or participate in implementation of complex production process transfers.
• Study process malfunctions (safety, quality, costs, deadlines) and implement improvements.
• Analyze causes of variability in processes and reduce them.
• Transmit process knowledge to users and support services.
• Create and implement risk analysis plans (FMEA).
• Develop new processes within the Business Unit and oversee equipment transfers.
• Set up new production equipment from specifications to technical validation.

The mission of the Manufacturing Process Engineer is to optimize production according to safety, quality, costs and deadlines through complex projects. He provides important support to the development teams by sharing his experience on production processes to empower the teams. He can manage or participate in the implementation of more complex production process transfers to empower the sites - Study process malfunctions (safety, quality, costs and deadlines) in order to define and implement the necessary improvements or optimizations using a recognized methodology (A3, DMAIC,....) - Analyze the causes of variability in a process and reduce them - Transmit knowledge of the process to users and other support services - Create and bring to life risk analysis plans (FMEA) - Actively participate in the development of the Business Unit's new processes - Manage the implementation of complex transfers - Setting up new production equipment from the development of the specifications to the technical validation

Demonstrated Experience On

• Utilization, problem solving and improvement action on integrated automation machines.


• Customer calims analisys and resolution (CAR's by 8D's).


• Tooling design by using SolidWorks (3D models and 2D drawings).


• Quality tools to conduct root cause analisys like Ishikawa, 5why's, etc.


• Proyects planing and excecution by methodology as of A3, DMAIC, etc.


• PFMEA & Control Plan


• Setting up new production equipment from the development of the specifications to the technical validation (Integration processes and line transfers)

Profile

Know The Requirements

• Bachelor's degree on Industrial Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, or similar


• Intermediate-Level: 3+ years of relevant work experience with a strong level of specialized knowledge


• English proficiency both written and spoken


• Design tools (Solidworks)


• Have knowledge in SPC, PFMEA construction, DOE and all tools which may help to improve process control.


• Risk analysis and PPM indicator, Lean knowledge and DMAIC methodology
