A leading technology manufacturing firm in Ciudad Juárez seeks a Manufacturing & Process Development Engineer. You will design and implement efficient manufacturing processes and lead new product introductions. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Engineering and preferably Lean Six Sigma certification. The position demands collaboration with various teams and a focus on quality and efficiency.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
  • Knowledge of polymeric material science preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.

Job Overview

Designs and implements manufacturing techniques, processes, tools, and machinery to maximize throughput; researches products and processes to optimize efficiency.

Job Requirements
  • Support product and process developments in Switchgear, Cold applied, High Voltage Insulator, and Arrestor product families.
  • Lead and manage NPI projects from concept through to production handover.
  • Support project planning, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and investment planning.
  • Align project and strategic planning with business objectives.
  • Research processes and markets to maintain competitive intelligence and identify new process innovation technology.
  • Design and develop new manufacturing processes that are efficient, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.
  • Maintain industry and technical knowledge to increase personal effectiveness.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities for high-quality production processes.
  • Provide training and guidance to Process engineers and production teams.
  • Collaborate with R&D, site process engineering, and other teams to integrate new products and processes.
  • Work with procurement and suppliers to enable technology integration and ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation for new products and processes.
  • Primarily based in a manufacturing facility with occasional office work and travel.
What your background should look like
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Knowledge of polymeric material science is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
