Job summary

LIXIL México, a través de AS Maquila y American Standard B&K México, busca un Ingeniero Industrial para unirse a nuestro equipo de planta. El puesto implica desarrollar e implementar procedimientos de planta y trabajar para controlar variables críticas.

Se valoran experiencia de 6 meses a 1 año en manufactura, con enfoque en Lean, Six Sigma y Kaizen, y habilidades de integridad, responsabilidad y pensamiento holístico.

Qualifications

• Ingeniero industrial o carrera afín requerida.
• 2 años de experiencia en manufactura no es obligatorio, pero se valora.
• Conocimiento básico de Lean, Six Sigma o Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Desarrollar e implementar procedimientos en todos los procesos asignados de planta.
• Identificar desviaciones y definir acciones necesarias para mantener el control de los procesos.
• Mejorar el desempeño de los procesos y reducir su variabilidad.
• Desarrollar y mantener métodos para asegurar variables críticas en control.
• Reducir costos asociados a retrabajos y desperdicios, establecer parámetros de operación y Set-Up de procesos.
• Generar y mantener información para el análisis y toma de decisiones sobre desempeño de procesos.
• Participar en el desarrollo y mantenimiento del sistema de Gestión de Calidad, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente.
• Promover condiciones de trabajo seguras y cumplir reglas y procedimientos de la empresa.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plant procedures in all assigned processes
• Identify deviations and define necessary actions to keep the processes in control
• Improve the performance of the processes
• Reduce the variability of processes
• Develop and maintain the necessary methods to ensure that critical variables remain in control
• Reduce costs for re-jobs and waste.7. Establish the operation parameters, and implement the Set-Up of the processes.8.
• Generate and maintain adequate and relevant information for the analysis and decision-making on the performance of the processes
• Participate in the development and maintenance of the Quality, Safety and Environment Management system
• Promote safe conditions for work and operate under the safety rules and procedures established by the company.

Qualifications

• Basic (Lean Manufacturing / Six sigma / Kaizen)
• Education - Industrial Engineer or related.
