Manufacturing Manager (m/f)

Your responsibilities

1. Supporting the production with technology knowledge in the daily job by goal setting and regular review
2. Focusing on the continuous improvement in health and safety, quality, productivity, and cost
3. Ensuring trouble free running of assigned equipment and processes
4. Ensuring machine analysis and optimization regarding potential errors
5. Ensuring technical support to reduce machine downtime
6. Continuously looking for opportunities to reduce scrap
7. Managing preventive, predictive, and curative maintenances
8. Managing the set-up team, ensuring availability and cleanliness of tooling
9. Managing spare parts planning to ensure availability
10. Supporting 5S process in all areas
11. Supporting new product introduction
12. Defining training needs and training employees
13. Being compliant with the budget
14. Following up KPIs
15. Managing workload in production, engineering, maintenance, and set-up teams
16. Being responsible for initiating, coordinating & cooperating with other departments in case of any common project

Your profile

1. University degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
2. Minimum of 5 years relevant manufacturing experience in the automotive or similar industry
3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing is considered an asset
4. Lean manufacturing / six sigma methodology
5. 5s / ergonomic workplace
6. OEE / TPM
7. VDA 6.3 certified
8. Training required by customers: Formel Q
9. Fluency in English and Spanish (written & spoken) is mandatory, any other language is considered an asset
