Corning Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of manufacturing equipment in a dynamic production environment in Mexico. You will lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize uptime, process stability, product quality, and manufacturing capacity.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in similar position.
• Experience supporting manufacturing equipment in production environments.
• Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• English proficiency for technical communication and supplier interaction.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and sustain preventive and predictive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment.
• Analyze equipment failures and lead root cause investigations to implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and production impact.
• Support equipment upgrades, new equipment installation, qualification, and startup activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, uptime, and overall equipment effectiveness.
