Job summary

Caterpillar in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing engineering functions, drive world-class processes, and govern capital investments to improve OEE and capacity. You will supervise engineering teams and coordinate readiness for new products and capital introductions.

The role requires close collaboration with operations and product managers, Lean implementation, and responsibility for meeting schedules and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• 8+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Previous supervisory leadership in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, performance management and staff development for plant personnel.
• Lead assembly, manufacturing processing, cost estimating, systems planning and layout.
• Manage development and continual improvement of operating methods, equipment and tooling.
• Coordinate release dates and material schedules to satisfy demand and ensure readiness.
