Job summary

BWI Group in Chihuahua, Mexico, seeks a senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead automotive manufacturing processes and supervise engineering teams on high‑volume assembly lines.

You will drive continuous improvement projects focused on cost reductions and efficiency, support line launches and product transfers, and apply Lean, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and control plans with PLCs/HMIs where relevant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing processes within the automotive industry.
• Experience supervising manufacturing engineering teams.
• Experience managing continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Experience with high-volume manual and automated assembly processes.
• Experience with production line launches and product transfers.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing processes within the automotive industry.
• Experience supervising manufacturing engineering teams.
• Experience managing continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Experience with high-volume manual and automated assembly processes.
• Experience with production line launches and product transfers.

Technical Knowledge

• Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans.
• Line balancing, time studies, and motion studies.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and robotics (preferred).
• Proficiency in Core Tools, including SPC and MSA.
• Advanced English proficiency.
