The Manufacturing Engineer Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the introduction, optimization, and lifecycle management of manufacturing processes and automation systems, particularly in the production of electrical meters (commercial and residential), network/router equipment, and related sub-assemblies. This role combines deep technical knowledge with strategic project leadership to ensure process efficiency, high equipment availability, operator reduction, and consistent product quality. The position drives innovation through mechanical, electrical, and software integration, and manages cross-functional teams in the deployment of advanced manufacturing technologies.
As a step above the Senior Manufacturing Engineer, the Superintendent role encompasses strategic planning, departmental leadership, and accountability for enterprise-level initiatives and budget management. This role influences company-wide manufacturing strategies and guides technology roadmaps to support future scalability and competitiveness.
