Formación

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of international quality standards and government regulations.

DESCRIPTION

• Analyze and review already existing processes and procedures.
• Analyze and review the functions and processes of already existing equipment.
• Develop and apply new processes and procedures in the production department.
• Investigate and develop innovative teams and implement them when necessary.
• Oversee new processes and equipment and inform about the reduction of scrap it produces, in terms of costs and labour.
• Evaluate the current costs and production and develop plans to reduce scrap, like costs and labour.
• Evaluate the current processes to automate them when possible.
• Layout design. Create diagrams, designs and graphics.
• Provide productivity reports, costs savings and other factors on a monthly or quarterly basis.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Industrial Engineering.
• 5 years of experience.
• Continuous Improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Quality controls to the manufacturing systems.
• Environmental impact reduction.
• Design new production and test equipment.
• Introduce new technological manufacturing processes.
• Develop and audit the procedures.
• Planning of equipment maintenance.
• Failure detection in the production processes.
• Optimization of the production operations.
• Planning to startup new production lines.
• Prevention and reduction of inactive time on the production plant.
• Create the budget.
• Knowledge of international quality standards.
• Knowledge of government regulations regarding production.
• Manage preventive, corrective and reactive actions throughout the manufacturing process.
• English B2.
