Kohler Co. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide engineering support for daily production, quality control, and problem solving in the Juarez facility. You will identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs while adhering to Kohler Operating System practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration with maintenance, supervision, and production teams to ensure smooth operation and safety compliance across manufacturing processes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 2–4 years manufacturing Lean experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering support for daily production and quality control.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and boost efficiency.
• Support maintenance in troubleshooting manufacturing processes, tools and dies.
• Develop labor standards for complex operations.
• Mentor and guide less experienced engineers on technical issues.
• Monitor plant metrics and drive data-driven improvements.
• Assist in implementing the Kohler Operating System (KOS).

Manufacturing Engineer

Work Mode: Onsite, Juarez, Nuevo León

Location: Juarez, Nuevo León

Under the supervision of the General Supervisor – Kilns & Spray, Plant I, this position is responsible for providing engineering support to production areas, identifying and improving opportunities in production processes or products. It also develops and maintains project‑engineering programs consistent with sound engineering practices, Kohler Operating System (KOS) principals and company policies, ensuring the facility operates without interruption and meets its production and cost objectives.

Specific Responsibilities

• Provide engineering assistance for daily production, quality control, problem solving, cost reduction and meeting delivery schedules.
• Oversee production processes and suggest changes in working methods or operation sequences to assure adequate operation and improve efficiency.
• Support the maintenance department in maintaining and troubleshooting the manufacturing process, tools and dies.
• Develop and maintain control over labor standards in complex operations.
• Assist in providing associate training and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Monitor and keep track of the different metrics of the plant.
• Assist the implementation of the Kohler Operating System (KOS).
• Promote continuous improvements in safety, quality and cost in the plant operations.
• Develop quality projects through Lean Manufacturing tools to achieve cost reduction and improve results.
• Support teamwork so that they follow up on established methods once projects are implemented.
• Comply with the Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities established for this position.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Preference: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Preference: Minimum of 2 to 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing operation employing lean system.
• Preference: Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows based software applications. Bilingual skills preferred.
