Kohler Co. in Juarez, Nuevo León, is seeking an engineering support professional reporting to the General Supervisor – Kilns & Spray, Plant I.

The role provides production assistance, identifies improvement opportunities, and helps develop and maintain project engineering programs to keep the facility operating with minimal interruptions. Preferred candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 2–4 years in manufacturing using lean systems; bilingualism is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering assistance for daily production, quality control, problem solving, cost reduction, and meeting delivery schedules.
• Oversee production processes and suggest changes to improve efficiency.
• Support maintenance in troubleshooting manufacturing processes, tools and dies.
• Develop and maintain labor standards in complex operations.
• Train associates and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Monitor plant metrics and support KPI tracking.
• Assist in implementing the Kohler Operating System (KOS).
• Promote continuous improvements in safety, quality and cost.

Opportunity

Under the supervision of the General Supervisor – Kilns & Spray, Plant I, this engineering support role will provide assistance to production areas, identify opportunities for improvement in production processes or products, and develop and maintain project‑engineering programs. The goal is to keep the facility operating without interruptions while meeting production and cost objectives.

Work Mode: Onsite, Juarez, Nuevo León

Location: Juarez, Nuevo León

Specific Responsibilities

• Provide engineering assistance for daily production, quality control, problem solving, cost reduction, and meeting delivery schedules.
• Oversee production processes and suggest changes in working methods or operation sequences to assure adequate operation and improve efficiency.
• Support the maintenance department in maintaining and troubleshooting the manufacturing process, tools, and dies.
• Develop and maintain control over labor standards in complex operations.
• Assist in providing associate training as required and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Monitor and keep track of the different metrics of the plant.
• Assist the implementation of the Kohler Operating System (KOS).
• Promote continuous improvements in safety, quality, and cost in plant operations.
• Develop quality projects through Lean Manufacturing tools to achieve cost reduction and improve results.
• Support teamwork to ensure follow‑up to the established methods after projects are implemented.
• Comply with the Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities established for this position (see responsibilities chart by position).

Education and Experience Requirements

Education: Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Experience: Prefer minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in a manufacturing operation employing lean system.

Formation: Prefer working knowledge of Microsoft Windows–based software applications. Bilingual skills preferred.
