Johnson Controls is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve and stabilize production processes using Lean and Continuous Improvement methods in the Nuevo León region. You will lead improvements, run Kaizen events, and collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure strong performance and readiness for new products.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, data-driven decision making, and a commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.
6 months to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineer role with process improvement responsibility.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methods.
Experience stabilizing or improving production lines, equipment, or processes.
Hands-on analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with different teams.

Responsabilidades

Lead design and implementation of stable production flow using Lean principles and CI tools.
Analyze manufacturing processes to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and lower costs.
Run Kaizen events, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, root cause analysis, and standard work initiatives.
Develop, improve, and validate manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processes.
Partner with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams for day-to-day performance.
Support new product introduction and production readiness from planning to launch.
Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and SOPs.
Monitor OEE, yield, downtime, and related metrics; drive corrective actions.
Lead troubleshooting and long-term corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are followed.
Train and support staff on Lean tools and improved practices.
