The role focuses on optimizing manufacturing techniques and processes, with responsibilities including developing automation control systems and mechanical design improvements. Candidates should have at least three years in a relevant manufacturing environment and strong skills in automation design and problem-solving. This position is on-site and offers a collaborative work environment.

Formación

Job Overview

Implements and improves manufacturing techniques, processes, tooling, and machinery to optimize quality and output levels.

Job Requirements
  • Optimizing and standardizing stamping, modeling, assembly, and other processes within the manufacturing environment.
  • Designing and developing manufacturing process platforms and automation platforms.
  • Applying process platforms for the realization of new product development as well as optimization of existing products already in production.
  • Ensuring processes are running at an optimum level for maximizing quality and output levels.

Requisitos

  • 3 years in manufacturing environment supporting production.
  • Knowledge and skills:
    • Fluent English skills.
    • Knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to work on several projects at once.
    • Skilled at solving problems.
    • Interpersonal skills, communication, and ability to multitask.
    • Design experience in automation controls (PLCs, servos, vision systems, sensors, ladder logic, function block programming, electrical schematics development, etc.).
    • Control system debugging and optimization.
    • Mechanical Design (3D, 2D, etc.).
    • Electrical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Mechanical and electronic design improvements for current processes and add-ons for machinery.
  • Design and implement automation control systems.
  • Develop and update manufacturing process instructions for control systems.
  • Develop and update training materials on control/schematics for manufacturing processes and machinery.
  • Analyze performance and process control data.
  • Identify, source, acquire, design, or adapt machines, tools, and equipment to meet production requirements.
  • Create new technologies in process designs to maximize performance and efficiency.
  • Generate innovative ideas to solve manufacturing problems, reduce costs, and increase overall manufacturing efficiency.
