Job summary

Eaton's IS AER ITD division is seeking an Engineer I to support manufacturing engineering activities at the Tijuana facility. The role focuses on analyzing demand, creating and updating product routings, and ensuring efficient cycle times across operations.

The candidate will contribute to workload transfers, BOM creation, and cost analysis for new and transferred routings, while collaborating with the engineering services team to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years' experience in metal mechanic processes or industrial/process engineering.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create working routings in the MRP system.
• Adjust routings to update operations, sequences and cycle times.
• Transfer workload from other sites to the Tijuana facility.
• Create BOM and Item Masters per engineering requirements.
• Create new part numbers and define product routing and cycle times.
• Cost routings including labor and material.
• Cost routings transferred from other sites including labor and material.
• Create SWCS based on Least Waste Way for each product family.
