TE Connectivity in Hermosillo, Sonora seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineering Assistant to support senior engineers in optimizing stamping, assembly, and automation. You will design and refine manufacturing processes and contribute to cost reductions and quality improvements.

The role requires hands-on design experience with automation controls, PLCs, and vision systems, plus SAP and MS Office proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Formación

• 1-2 years in manufacturing supporting production.
• Fluent English required.
• Experience with automation controls design and optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Mechanic and electronic design of improvements for current processes and machinery.
• Design and implement automation control systems.
• Develop and update manufacturing process instructions for all control systems.
• Create training materials on control schematics for manufacturing processes.
• Analyze performance and process control data.
• Source and acquire machines/tools to meet production requirements.
• Develop new process designs to maximize performance and efficiency.

Job Overview

Assists more senior engineers in implementing manufacturing techniques, processes, tools and machinery in order to optimize quality and output levels.

Job Requirements

Optimizing and standardizing stamping, modeling, assembly, and other processes within the manufacturing environment. Designing and developing manufacturing process platforms and automation platforms Applying process platforms for the realization of new product development as well as optimization of existing products already in production. Ensuring processes are running at an optimum level for maximizing quality and output levels.

What Your Background Should Look Like

• 1-2 years in manufacturing environment supporting production KNOWLEDGE AND SKI
• Fluent English skills
• Knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on several projects at once.
• Kownledge at solving problems.
• Interpersonal skills, communication, and ability to multitask.
• Design experience in automation controls (PLCs, servos, vision systems, sensors, ladder logic, function block programming, electrical schematics development, ect)
• Control system debugging and optimization.
• Mechanical Design (3D, 2D, etc).
• Electrical and communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify, source, acquire, design or adapt machines, tools and equipment to meet production requirements.
• Create new technologies in process designs to maximize performance and efficiency.
• Create innovative ideas to solve manufacturing problems and simplify new products to reduce costs and increase overall manufacturing efficiency.
