TE Connectivity Ltd. in Hermosillo, Sonora, is seeking a junior engineer to assist senior engineers in implementing manufacturing techniques, processes and automation to improve quality and output.

You will design and develop automation control systems, update process instructions, and analyze performance data while coordinating multiple projects. Fluent English and SAP/MS Office experience are required.

Formación

• 1–2 years in manufacturing environment supporting production
• Fluent English skills
• Knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work on several projects at once
• Knowledge at solving problems
• Interpersonal skills, communication, and multitask ability
• Design experience in automation controls (PLCs, servos, vision systems, sensors, ladder logic, function block programming, electrical schematics)
• Control system debugging and optimization
• Mechanical design (3D, 2D)
• Electrical and communication

Responsabilidades

• Mechanic and electronic design improvements for current processes and add-ons for current machinery
• Design and implement automation control systems
• Develop and update manufacturing process instructions for all control systems
• Develop and update training materials on control/schematics for manufacturing processes and automatic machinery
• Analyze performance and process control data
• Identify, source, acquire, design or adapt machines, tools and equipment to meet production requirements
• Create new technologies in process designs to maximize performance and efficiency
• Create innovative ideas to solve manufacturing problems and reduce costs while increasing overall efficiency

Job Overview

Assists more senior engineers in implementing manufacturing techniques, processes, tools and machinery in order to optimize quality and output levels.

Job Requirements

Optimizing and standardizing stamping, modeling, assembly, and other processes within the manufacturing environment.

Designing and developing manufacturing process platforms and automation platforms

Applying process platforms for the realization of new

product development as well as optimization of existing products already in production.

Ensuring processes are running at an optimum level for maximizing quality and output levels.

What your background should look like
