Flex is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Tijuana site to support scalable product manufacturing. You will plan, direct, and improve processes, collaborate with engineering teams, and ensure cost-effective production of high‑quality products.

You will coordinate with maintenance, QA, and operations to optimize layouts, define equipment needs, and implement process improvements and PFMEA updates as part of the lifecycle.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Able to run and explain simulations.
• Exercises independent judgment within defined procedures and practices to achieve objectives.

Responsabilidades

• Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts.
• Design manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
• Define equipment maintenance requirements and identify root causes of failures.
• Develop corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional teams.
• May participate in PFMEA updates and control plan development.
• Write work instructions and specifications.
• Analyze layout of equipment and workspace for efficiency.
• Coordinate with customers on product specifications and design changes.
• Provide management with technical cost perspectives.
• Discuss manufacturing capabilities and schedules with management.
• Apply statistical methods to estimate future requirements.
