Requirements include 5+ years in metal-mechanical manufacturing, advanced English, and a relevant engineering degree. Visa support is noted as a consideration.

MICROMETALS:

Iron powder cores are manufactured by coating high-purity iron or alloy powder particles with an electrical insulation layer.

Micrometals formulate their own proprietary powders and presses them to create solid magnetic cores.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical leadership for metal-mechanical manufacturing processes.


• Lead ISO certifications and recertifications, including audit preparation and closure of findings.


• Implement advanced process controls aligned with NADCAP requirements for special processes.


• Ensure robust process documentation, validation, and control.


• Lead more than three validated cost-saving projects with cumulative impact exceeding $100K USD.


• Act as subject matter expert for complex manufacturing issues.


• Mentor and guide Manufacturing Engineer I and II levels.


• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT:

Senior technical leadership role with progression toward Principal Engineer or Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Education, Experience, Skills:

• Advanced English proficiency.

• More than 5 years of experience in metal-mechanical manufacturing environments, with demonstrated experience, related experience or familiarity with Metal Mechanics or related industry with machine equipment for production processes, such as industrial mixers, hydraulic or mechanical compacting presses, thermal ovens, coating and spray equipment.


• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field


• Proven experience leading manufacturing engineering functions and improvement initiatives.


• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma; some belt certification or training desired.


• Demonstrable in interviews: more than three validated cost-saving projects with cumulative impact.
