Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for updating and maintaining the instructions for setting up and starting machinery and equipment, responsible for leak testing, and updating and maintaining the PFMEA of each product.

Your Contribution:

1. Ensure that equipment and spare parts are registered in the maintenance system.
2. Update and maintain the poka yoke lists of each assembly team.
3. Lead the annual repeatability and reproducibility studies of the process for the assembly teams.
4. Lead modifications to equipment due to engineering changes.
5. Review, in conjunction with the new product launch engineers, the sequence of operations, the flow chart, the PFMEA, the product packaging, and the distribution of machinery and equipment on the production floor prior to the launch of each program in the plant.
6. Participate in continuous improvement teams, report and follow up on the actions that derive from it.
7. Support the production department in the training of operators when required.

Your Experience & Qualifications:

• 2-3 years' experience in a related field.
• English fluency.
• Automotive experience, at least the last 2 years.
